You're invited to the read-what-you-wish ARCollective Book Club
brought to you by the AIAWHV EP Committee
Date: June 18, 2020
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Platform: Zoom Webinar
This month we will touch upon the intersection of Architecture and Neuroscience.
As one of the 2018 Keynote speakers at the AIA Conference on Architecture, Sarah Williams Goldhagen paired cognitive research with environmental psychology to show us just how impactful a space can be both physically and mentally. She expands upon this presentation in her book, Welcome to Your World: How the Built Environment Shapes our Lives.
Join us on June 18, 2020 at 7:00 pm as we discuss the complex relationship between the environments we create and occupy, how they shape our experiences and memories, and how we can ultimately use this knowledge to make ourselves and environments more enriching. We would love for you to be part of our lively discussion, whether you read the book, skimmed the inside cover, or are using it to prop open a door.
