EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ENDS AUGUST 17TH, 2018

Come join Southern NYS EP at "The People's Beach" - Jacob Riis Beach for their second annual summer outing event! This year they will be conducting an sandcastle contest. They will provide light refreshments. Bring your family, meet others in the architecture profession and don’t forget to bring your own picnic! The judging of the sculptures is rated on originality of concept, artistic execution, technical difficulty, carving technique, and utilization of the site. At the end of the day, everyone goes home with memories of a great day at the beach filled with fun, sand and sun.

9:30 AM Beach opens for teams
10:00 AM Public is encouraged to begin to arrive to watch the competition.
10:00am - 2:00pm Teams compete and build.
1:30pm - 2:30pm The People's Beach Voting
2:00 - 2:45 pm Judging
2:45 pm Awards Ceremony
