The 2017 Survey of Architectural Registration Boards indicates architects in the United States rose to 113,554, a 3 percent increase since 2016. Surveys have also shown that the number of out of state licenses has risen to the second highest number on record, showing that architects have the mobility they need to move their work across borders.
ABOUT AIA WHV: Chartered by the American Institute of Architects in 1936, AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley represents over 680 local members. The chapter works to achieve a more humane built environment and a higher standard of professionalism for architects throughout Westchester County and the Hudson Valley region of New York State.
